And Tag, You’re It!

I found out that I was tagged by philq8! Seriously, I’m whacked from uploading the pictures from the Malaysia trip. So far, I’ve only completed my update on the Perak trip and I have yet to update about the trip to Kuala Lumpur after that. So, I’m taking a short breather. What better way to do that than through randomizing?

1. Last movie you saw in a theater?
Fantastic 4-Rise of the Silver Surfer!! It was great I tell you. We watched it at Times Square’s IMAX theatre. Very the puas hati!

2. What book are you reading?
Currently reading the novel Kenang-Kenanagan Seorang Geisha. Its actually the Malay translated version of the book Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden.

3. Favorite board game?
Candy Land.

4.Favorite magazine?
Hmmm, that depends. I used to be a fan of Lime magazine but after my subsription ended years back, I’ve never reallly been into magazines that much. I usually just browse through the magazines that I find. Its also so rare that I buy magazines cause usually its my sister who buys it. My magazine reads range from Cleo, Teenage, Lime and other teenage magazines. So, for favourites magazine…I can’t say that I have any.

5. Favorite smell?
I like the smell of natural water. I like the smell of rain and the scent of seawater.

6. Favorite food?
Its hard to choose a favourite cause I like food! So, I have to say that its between my mum’s home-cooked Tom Yam Noodles and Rojak Bandung.

7. Favorite sound?
As narcissistic as it sounds, I like hearing my own voice. Hahahaha…

8. Worst feeling in the world?
For me, its the feeling of failure. I can’t deal very well with failure and that explains why I constantly push myself to the very limit. I can’t cope with any type of failure. Failure in studies, failure in love, failure in being able to make people happy etc…Failure has got to be the worst feeling in the world. Whenever I experience failure, I feel dejected and useless. But, as ironic as it is, failure can sometimes evolve to be a good thing cause its through failure that I’m able to upgrade myself and push myself a little bit more futher the next time round. Its also through failure that I realise that its okay to make mistakes and that that’s how one learns in life.

9. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up?
Alhamdullilah, I am still alive.

10. Favorite fast food place?
I would have to say Burger King. I especially love their Mushroom Swiss Burger they’re the only fast food outlet I know that has onion rings, besides A&W-which we don’t have here in Singapore anymore.

11. Future child’s name?
This is too early to decide. But just the other day I was looking through a babies’ name book at Popular book store and I saw many interesting names. Of course, any parent would want a child to bear a good name and it is the responsibility of the parent to give the child a name that carries a good meaning. Okay, for now, I would have to say that if its a girl, I would go for the name Afifah which means honesty and upright. For a guy, I would go for the name Samir which means companion. For now that is..haha :P

12. Finish this statement. If I had a lot of money:
I would donate half of it to different organizations, namely those organizations like the WWF where we can do our part in trying to save those endangered species like the Pandas and Orangutans. The other half, I would use to treat my family to a holiday in Switzerland, Australia…or maybe just somewhere where we can experience winter.

13. Do you drive fast?
I have not even yet gotten my driving license. Heck, I have not even yet started going for driving lessons. I wanted to after my A levels but, let’s just say I used up the money I saved to buy something that I prioritise even more than driving! But, the next plan for me is to definitely save up money slowly and take up my driving license. I’m jealous that there are others my age that already know how to drive!

14. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?
Nope, I sleep with two pillows and a stuffed strawberry pillow that I bought at Cameron Highlands.

15. Storms cool or scary?
Definitely cool cause I get to hear the thunder roaring and I like hearing the sound of hard rain hitting the ground. I like the smell or rain remember? But despite it being cool, storms are sometimes quite troublesome, especially when you want to go out and you’re in a rush.

16. What was your first car?
Boo..I don’t even know how to drive, how to have a car? But our first family car was Nissan March.

17. Favorite drink?
Iced Milo.

18. Finish this statement, “If I had the time I would…”:

20. If you could dye your hair any color, what would be your choice?
I wouldn’t dye all of it. I would probably give my hair some dark maroon highlights.

21. Name all the different cities/ towns you have lived in?
Dang, my answer for this one is going to be boring. I have never lived anywhere outside Singapore. I was born in Singapore an raised in Singapore. I have lived in the Tampines estate my whole life. We shifted houses before, but we still ended up in Tampines. If can, I would like to live in New Zealand or Australia for a change.

22. Half empty or half full?
Half-full.

23. Favorite sports to watch?
I don’t like watching sports but I do like being involved in sports.
