Yesterday evening, around 5pm-ish, I made my way to Vivocity. I had a ‘date’ with Fingersdontfing Faddy! Okay, I’ve never met anyone whom I knew online, face to face so it was natural that I was feeling a bit nervous about how things were going to turn out. But, I guess its the fact that I knew her before this during my first 3 months in Jurong JC, that eased out the whole situation. A part of me was worried that it might be awkward and I’ll have nothing to say to her but boy was I wrong. And I’m glad that I was wrong. We turned out to have alot more in common than I thought and Faddy, I must say that I’m grateful that we did meet up afterall!
Besides it being the first time for me meeting an online friend, it was also the first time for me where the sole purpose of going out was to take photographs. I don’t actually have ‘kakis’ whenever I want to head out for photography trips. So, having someone who was just as passionate about photography, if not more, was really great. I learned some tips from her about photography and now she’s managed to convince me to invest in a tripod.
Our main aim was actually to take photographs to enter the Vivocity photography competition. But, I don’t think I will though cause I think I’m still far off from that mark. However, that didn’t stop us from taking photos here and there.

If you look closely, you can see the moon. The moon was out early, it wasn’t even dark.

Ben & Jerry’s after that. Talked about many issues, reminisce a little about school life and shared laughs over ice-cream. It was dark soon after and it was such a pity that there were not sunsets to be taken. We went out again to practice night shots, well for me that is. Faddy kindly lended me her tripod for a while so that I could get a kick at taking night photographs.

Ahh, night shots are just orgasmic don’t you think? Hurry hurry hurry…I need to get a tripod!!!
