I’m tagged by rieaane to post about my favourite pair of shoes.

I don’t think I’m a shoe-freak-maniac and hence I don’t own that many pair of shoes unlike some people who have 20-30 or even more pairs of shoes. However, I do LOVE shoes and everytime I go out, I get strong urges to buy a pair of shoes. But, its the money factor that makes me think twice before getting a new pair, or maybe its just that people tell me that I don’t need anymore shoes cause I’ve already got many. Now, I don’t believe that I’ve got many shoes cause as the saying goes…”A girl can never have enough shoes”. But really, I don’t own a cupboard full of them or have many shoe boxes stacked high up in one corner of room. Oh how I wish! (Maybe I am a shoe-freak-maniac afterall….Gawd, I think if I had the money, I’ll be splurging on shoes like eating peanuts!)
So, out of all the pairs of shoes that I own-sadly not many-,I would have to say that this pair of flats is my favourite. Firstly, its in my favourite colour which is red. When I saw it, I knew I had to get it and it was just so lucky that I had enough money for me to get hold of them. Secondly, its not a pair of heels. I’m really not a heels-type of girl. But that’s not to say that I hate them. In fact, I have a pair of heels and I must say that they are chic. Its just that I prefer flats to heels. Thirdly, this pair of shoes were quite affordable. I paid $29.90 for them. My shoes rarely goes over the $30 budget, except for some. Yeah yeah…I’m a cheapskate but I do my best to take care of my shoes. My shoes are rarely branded and I’m okay with that as I’m not so particular about brands. Although it doesn’t go without saying that if one pays more for an item, it is most likely to last longer.
I bought this pair of shoes earlier this year and so, it has already been months old. There’s no special or emotional connection attached with the shoes cause like I mentioned earlier, I just bought the shoes cause I found them nice, casual and affordable. I’ve worn these shoes on many occasions as they just about suit any type of wear except formal wear. I’ve worn them during my holiday to Cameron Highlands, on dates with Azri, wedding invitations and other informal occasions. I’m satisfied with my buy although I did saw a similar pair but in blue just some time back. Maybe I’ll get those when I can, but for now, these red flats are my favourite pair of shoes.

I remembered my younger sister in Phil. when I saw your pair of shoes, she has something similar to that and it’s her favorite also. By the way thanks for responding!
